XI International Origami Internet Olympiad

The 11th International Origami Internet-Olympiad will be held online from November 15th, 2026 to December 15th, 2026 (The exact time will be specified in the contestants′ control panel!).

Participation is free. Every registered origamist has the opportunity to take part in the Olympiad.

How to participate in the Olympiad:

• You need to register at origami.expert
• All participants must fill out the FOLDER APPLICATION FORM.
• The application must be submitted no later than November 15th, 2026(the exact time and other useful information can be found on the Official IOIO-2026 page).
• After the start, you can find the tasks in your profile.
• The Olympiad e-books are FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY and may not be distributed online(or published in any other way).
• The Olympiad consists of approximately 10-12 tasks: diagrams of various difficulty levels (from easy to complex), CPs, tessellations, etc., and a theme for your own work. Each model will be awarded a certain number of points. Photos of completed tasks must be submitted no later than the exact time specified in the contestants′ control panel!
• The winners will be selected by a competent jury within three weeks after the deadline.

For Designers: If you wish to participate in this event, please fill out the special APPLICATION FORM(registration is required to enter) with your diagrams, CPs, or photo-diagrams by September 15th, 2026. If your diagram is selected for the Olympiad, it will be added to the e-book with tasks. All authors who submit their diagrams will receive the Olympiad e-book via email. The quality of the diagrams, CPs, and photo-diagrams doesn′t matter, as all diagrams will be tested and redrawn in the same style. This is a great opportunity for you not only to obtain high-quality tested diagrams of your models but also to see them folded by many great origamists worldwide.
