Shadow thai + Dog? Alternatives?
I am curious, how many contestants have ended up folding the second model (dog) with a shadow thai? :D Guilty as charged here.
@Tzvete Martin, What an incredible result - simply stunning!! Bravo!!

I ended up using using shadow thai too (but definitely did not get the same result

I was determined to shape it as a dog, to the best of my abilities. I have to admit, there are a couple of not-so-successful attempts with varied papers (three to be exact :) that I have since erased from existence

Wooow! Now I see why people say it looks like a horse! A model that lends itself to varied shapings - my ideal type of model! I am quite tempted to give this shaping direction a try myself, to be honest! Amazing interpretation, Florian!
I used Shadow Thai as well. I wanted chunky paper.
In hindsight I′m not sure I am doing it right. This is my first Olympiad and I went for plain photos to show the model as it is, no water no glue just pure.
I tried to shape it like a dog by rearranging the folds to change the ears and snout. Unfortunately, I didn′t have time to refold it or take better photos, and I′m not very happy with the result.
I don′t know if this type of modelling can be considered acceptable or excessive for the competition... Anyway, I hope to get through to the next round so I can have fun with the next models.
Ops, I published it in the wrong discussion, and I don′t see any way to delete it :-(
